Pittosporum Eugenioides (Lemonwood)
Like all Pittosporum this is a great pioneer plant for restoration projects.
Lemonwood is a particularly effective coloniser, especially on low fertility soil. When planted with other Pittosporum varieties you will often see it out competing them over the first few years.
It gets it's European name from the lemony scent of it's flowers in spring.
